John Goodman stars in Joe Dante's nostalgic comedy about '60s kitsch cinema. A seat cushion that delivers an electric shock, a vibrating Rumble Rama and a man-eating ant are just some of the shocks in store for young teenager Gene Loomis (Simon Fenton) and the other citizens of Key West, Florida when schlock-horror genius Lawrence Woolsey (Goodman) brings his latest low-budget creation into their town.
